"When I had my daughter we used to sit outside the fire and sit together just looking into eachothers eyes since it was very 1st baby. Now I have a son on the way and hope to do the same thing with him just to see his glow"

"We venture out in the cool crisp air to see what adventures await:the falling leaves, the wind in the trees, the birds in the blue sky above. Eyes wide with delight, a coo on her lips, she slowly drinks all of it in.Wrapped up snug and tight, close against mom, she is warm, she is safe, she is loved"

"We go together,
through pouring rain or flurries of snow.

Whatever the weather,
You're snuggled beneath my chin. And so,

You're close to my heart,
drinking milk when you please.

Our Mei Tai is lovely and smart;
we can travel with ease."

"For baby's first Christmas at 11 months, I took her to see the "Parade of Lights." Unfortunately it was FREEZING cold out. Solution: A big down coat & a Moby wrap inside. Everyone else was shivering, but I was literally sweating , and my daughter slept through the parad"

"Yesterday was a very cold day, and I need to go to the drugstore (walking about 2 blocks). I started to bundle my baby with layers of hat, jacket and pants. Still too cold out! so I had an idea to put velvet thick pod to wrap him over the mei tai and my DH thought it's a winter baby cover!"

"Our family was out for a walk. As the sun began to set, fingers and toes began to chill. Our older three were in the wagon which provided no extra warmth. The baby, however, was snuggled up to my chest in the sling. On arriving home, while everyone else ran for hot drinks, he was still toasty warm. "

"I have alway been heavy, but after the birth of my last baby, I found babywearing. I wore my baby doing everything including walking for excercise. Now she weighs almost 30# and is 2yrs old and I have lost 50#s. Now I use all my xl jackets to wrap us up in the cold idaho winters while we walk "

"We had just moved to Chicago and were looking for a condo. We arrived to the next showing and I took my 18 month old out of her carseat and into the brutal cold! She clinched onto me and I held her as close to me as possible. I have never run as fast as I did that day as we darted into the building!"

"I loved wearing my son last winter because he was small enough to fit inside my regular coat. He went everywhere with me snuggled up in a RS or a wrap, tucked against my heart under my coat- he slept so sweetly! This year he's too big to go under my coat and I am missing the cool weather snuggles."

"A friend of mine had stomach surgery to loose weight. She had a few sweaters that were now to big. I gladly took a few v-neck ones. They keep my baby and I so warm together while she is being worn. I even wear them backwards when I am wearing her on my back. You should see the looks I get. "

"Last winter I wanted to babywear without spending extra $ so I felted a sweater, cut and made a large pocket type deal that I tied on the two of us. The babe was bundled in 3 size too big uggs (I got then on a super sale that I figured he would eventually fit them) with babylegs to keep them on."

"When my sweet son was born on February 21st, crying 8 or more hours a day it was very challenging. And although I only had a snugglie, I put him under my pregnancy coat and would walk him for hours for him to forget his pain. It helped us bond and made us both feel better!"

"My 3 mo old & I walked in the Race for the Cure and wore dads, (Very large,) fleece around us. Everyone took a look at me from the side and said- I thought you had that baby! ;-) Of course her little head was poking out the top. It was fun."

"As much as I LOVE the snow, sometimes when the wind is blowing hard and the snow is a blinding whiteout....I thank god that I have a little one to snuggle up to and keep us both warm. I have been known to take my coats and wear them backwards so that my daughter is snuggled up nice and warm on me."

"Tiny hands, gently, sweet
Can’t resist those yummy feet!
I carried U with me since December
Always close to me, do U remember?
U kissed my ear, & pulled my hair
U laughed out loud when I jumped in the air!
It’s your brother’s turn to feel safe on my back
So give me a kiss & let’s get a snack!"
